This edition of the CEO column came at a time of growing national insecurity, global coronavirus pandemic, slow economic growth, trade barriers due to closure of borders and travel restriction. Interestingly Four D Associates have not seized to play a significant and strategic role in helping governments in Nigeria address issue of insecurity, emergencies namely kidnapping, communal clashes, accidents, armed robbery, rape, COVID-19 response, flooding and other forms of emergency in the country by providing business process operations, managed services and facility management of the Nigerian Communication Commission Emergency Communication Centres located in Anambra, Akwa-Ibom, Benue, and Kaduna.
The Emergency Communication Centre provides the infrastructure that manages the national short code 112. Any time a citizen of the country is in distress and call the number 112, our dedicated men and women receive the calls and immediately dispatch the calls to the response agencies made up of the Police, Fire Service, Road Safety, Civil Defence, Joint Military Task force, Kaduna State Emergency Agency and National Emergency Management Agency
I am excited working for Four D Associates Limited and being part of the management team that has helped the company grow and evolve into a diverse multi-service company that delivers operational expertise across many programs and projects that impact the society. One of which is the Federal Government of Nigeria in alliance with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) which has put four D Associates Limited in place to help provide quick response and assistance to distress callers during the National COVID-19 Pandemic. Across these four states we recorded and transferred over two hundred live cases, addressed over ten thousand enquiries and helped provide intervention to victims of false allegation of COVID-19 who but for the immediate response of Nigerian Police would have been lynched in one of these four states.
The services we render are critical to keeping the nation secured, as well as making government services more efficient and we have been achieving that with the help of our well trained employees who ensure our customers and clients receive satisfactory services.
